car mirror for RF seat in center
I took my car seat to a safety check and they moved my seat into the center.
Now I don't know what to do as far as the mirror. I know I'm not supposed to have it but it's driving me CRAZY to not see DD
What does everyone else do?

Why aren't you supposed to have it? My suv has the headrest in the center I connected it to. I'm sure there's something out there for ones that don't though.

I never used one. Never had any problems either. But DS is pretty well behaved in the car.

hhhmmm, my carseat is on the side (behind the passenger seat) so I have it there. I don't know what to do with it in the middle.

As per my car seat inspector, in an accident it's dangerous. It can become a projectile and hit the baby (or the baby can hit the mirror if they're ejected from the seat).
To the OP: I just talk to DD in the car. She babbles and talks back. THe other drivers must think I'm nuts, but oh, well

I've always heard that reason, but my car mirror had a solid loop, so the only way for it to be a projectile is if the entire headrest came off the seat, and at that point, the mirror would be the least of my worries....

I've heard this too but mine has a strap that hooks to the tether anchor in my car.

Re: car mirror for RF seat in center
Which mirror can I put in the center? My car only has headrests on the 2 sides in the back

I don't have headrests in the back. There is a piece that goes in between the seat and the car that you bend to adjust. Then there is the strap that hooks to the top tether.
