Car Leases - what can you do?
I leased a car last month, and the back windows are tinted - is it true that I cannot tint my front windows?
What can I or cannot do w/a lease?

You can tint the windows. If anything, it will probably add to the value of the truck, which will help them when they go to sell it later.

Check New York Consolidated Laws: Vehicle & Traffic (VAT), Article 9, Section 375.12-a: Safety glass and light transmittance; medical exemptions. before you do ANYTHING... some tints are illegal.....

I tinted and returned my leased car with it. my current lease as well as DH's lease has tinted windows.
Its easily removed if the dealership doesn't want it on there when you return it

You can tint them and they most likely won't charge you. However, as a previous poster mentioned, most tint on front windows is illegal. Although that doesn't stop a lot of us from doing it.
