My policy expires tomorrow with Geico and I'm looking to see if I can find some "cheaper" quotes.

they were NOT the cheapest for me
Allstate was- and travelers matched what I was paying thru allstate
I have filed claims under both- and they were handled perfectly!
I am very happy with both companies I use

I periodically check with other carriers, most recently in Feb when we bought a new car. None has ever offered us a lower rate than Geico, but it depends on you particular situation.

Geico was cheapest for me when I was single. But married I switched to the same as my husband, State Farm. They give many multiline discounts.

I've always had Liberty Mutual...check Geico's quotes once when I was in the process of buying a new car, they were more expensive then Liberty, so I stuck with them.

I recently switched to Geico from Drive by Progressive. It wasn't as cheap, but I got waaaaaay better coverage than I did with Progressive (if I went with the coverage Gieco gave me at Progressive, I would've been paying an arm and a leg).

So I called around..and geico was still the cheapest. We have state farm for our homeowner's and they were more expensive with the discounts....I'll try again in 6 months.

Are all the companies you're calling quoting the same limits, etc.? That could make a difference.
