Freddy the Firefly (we call him mr. crinkles)
Boogie Wipes - just discovered these - awesome
Nuby Bug a loop teether
Ocean Wonders Soothe & Glow Seahorse
ETA: A few other things:
- Feetie pjs WITH zippers. so much easier - Pacifier clips (i think you need a special one for the soothie) - Bibs that have a button no velcro - my hair always gets stuck in the velcro and DS can now rip off the velcro bibs

Medela washable breast pads....you need them whether you are BFing or not. I had none when I came home and swore I would always give this to every new mom I know.
Oh and disposable changing pads...use them under the good one when we are out or when its a super-messy diaper to protect the changing table

Re: can't live without it/favorite items....
Our favorite items - must haves in our household...
Homedics Sound Spa DS started STTN when we bought this. The rain knocks him out. We love that it's small enough to pack away for trips.
WubbaNub DS has had them since birth. He keeps the monkey in his crib - his bedtime buddy. He alternates between the two dogs.
Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Bath & Lotion I know so many people are anti J&J, but it's golden here. It's an important part of our bedtime routine.

My muslin blankets. Seriously, I can't live without them. Gripe water, although not fun, another can't live without.
