Can you mail a 5x7 invitation with a regular forever stamp?

Can you mail a 5x7 invitation with a regular forever stamp?
I just ordered shower invitations. I know that square invitations require extra postage. 5x7 fits in the dimensions on the usps website. Just wanted to check on LIF since I know lots of people do invitations on here. I would hate for my invitations to come back to me in the mail.

Yes, as long as it doesn't have anything else like RSVP cards in there with it.
I just mailed my wedding invitations - they were 5x7's and they would have been fine with a forever stamp, but unfortunately I had rsvp cards and envelopes, as well as a "details" card...those 2 extra put me just on the cusp of the weight line and to be safe we used the 66 cent stamps.

as long as its just the photo card and envelope (no other inserts or cards that would push it to a 2oz weight) then yes. there are no surcharges on that shape.
