Can you be TOO old for a Bikini
I am 40 and have been working my butt off (literally) for months to look good this summer. I bought some bikini's to wear and my mother said "Aren't you too old to wear a bikini"? (she hasn't seen me in the bikini's at all either to make that judgement).
Do you think there is an AGE to stop wearing bikini's?

If you have been working hard, totally wear it.
When ever I go to the beach, there are women wearing bathing suits that maybe I wouldn't or couldn't wear, but I think if they are comfortable in it, more power to them.
It's all in how you feel.

Absolutely.
When there are more wavy lines on you then on waves in the ocean, hang up that bikini.
Helen Mirren is beautiful. This was her at 63:
This was Ivana Trump at 62.
They both look pretty good but one is looking too wrinkly for one IMO.

Doens' t matter how old you are, what matters is how good you look! Some woman have can nt wear bikinies in their 20s, and some can rock it at 50. If you look good, wear it and be proud of your sexy ass!

Wear it and be proud! I am 40 too and bought a few the past couple years....I do feel a little weird sometimes esp when with mom friends who don't wear them but I wear them on vacation and such!

As long as you CAN wear it, who cares how old you are. I see 16 year olds who have NO business wearing a 2 piece do it. If your body allows it, go for it.

I agree with it being subjective to the person. I'm going to be 37 this year & I'm not giving mine up...it's all I own & just bought new ones this year.

Agree. To me it's not about age it's about your body type. We went to a water park the other day and I saw some young girls wearing bikinis who had no business at all wearing one. Do what makes you feel good.

What??? 40 too old to wear a bikini??? Doesn't she know 40 is the new 30? Lol. Women today don't look like the women that were in their forties and fifties 30-40 years ago. I'm 51 and still wear a bikini and so do all of my girlfriends.
