Re: can we do re-introductions???

Hi! My name is Liz and I am 16 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I"m due on Sept 8th. My hubby and I have a 4.5 year old DD. I'm having some placenta issues, and am not supposed to be lifting anything heavy, doing any strenuous activities, and am on pelvic rest as well. I'm finding it very hard to rest!

Re: can we do re-introductions???

I'm Deanna and I am 22 wks, 4days preggo w/Chat Icon . This is our 1st LO, we had an MC last year. We are due 7/26. My pregnancy (knock wood) has been amazing so far. The only thing that has been difficult is that I have an anterior placenta so I haven't felt my LO yet and I am dying to. Chat Icon

Re: can we do re-introductions???

Hi! My name is Kelly and I am 31. I am almost 37 weeks along with our first. I am a 09 bride. This is our first child, although we did have a miscarriage in May.

We are expecting our baby boy Charlie on April 18th...although if he shows up sooner I will welcome him happily! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I am soooo ready.

I have had a pretty uneventful pregnancy. Just now towards the end it is becoming a bit difficult, but I think that is basically the case for anyone at the end of of their third trimester.

Re: can we do re-introductions???

Great idea! I'm Ka, an 09 bride, and I'm 15 weeks along with my first LO - due Sept 16. I'm 34 and got my BFP the day before I was supposed to go to a RE and we are grateful everything has gone smoothly so far. Chat Icon

I grew up in Eastern Suffolk and lived in NYC for the last 10 yrs, and DH and I recently moved to Jersey City for more space since the commute is easier to downtown than from LI...but all of our family is on LI so it's tough that we don't see them very often. We'll see where we settle after Chat Icon arrives!

Re: can we do re-introductions???

My name is Randi and I am 34 weeks pregnant with a Chat Icon! I also have a 2 year old Chat Icon named Luca. I am on bedrest and was finally diagnosed with mild preeclampsia. Doctors would like me to get to 36 weeks and then they are looking for any reason to induce, if I do not go on my own by then. That way the baby and I are not put in harms way. The baby is measuring big, he is already 6lbs. 11oz. Looking forward to meeting this little guy and getting back to life with my boys! Chat Icon

Re: can we do re-introductions???

I'm Laura and I'm having my second LO on Thursday,a Chat Icon I'll be having a scheduled CS at stonybrook. I was hoping to VBAC but it wasn't recommended due to a tear I had off of my incision last time. It feels so strange! Kind've like I'll be checking into a hotel to go have a baby. My DD will be turning 3 shortly, with her I was induced at 42 weeks.

Re: can we do re-introductions???

hi ladies im gabbie, 28yrs old from queens. i am 33weeks preggo with baby girl lexi . we have a 2.5 yr old daughter at home who is anxious to become a big sister; or so i tell myself :)
i have been monitored and seeing my OB every 2 weeks for my cervix because of a surgery i had in June. I was spotting upto week 16; and i was really told to take it easy the entire pregnancy. so it was a bummer that i couldnt lift DD etc....
But I am so glad to be at 33 weeks and Hope to make it to atleast 36 weeks!!! Hoping baby girl lexi cooks a little longer :)))

I am so excited for my may baby.
This weekend I washed clothes after DD#1 and already organized 3 drawers - feeling pretty darn good :)))

Re: can we do re-introductions???

I'm Gina... 28 yrs old... Me and DH have been married for 3.5 yrs but together 11. Chat Icon Originally from the Bronx, but now reside in Holbrook (with a move to farmingdale in between)... Seems like we just keep going further and further out LOL

First child for us and we got pregnant our first month that we decided we were ready to start a family. It took DH about a yr after me to come around and finally become ready. Now, he couldn't be more thrilled to be a daddy and I think he glows more than I do Chat Icon

As of today, I have entered my 33rd week and so far so good! Still feeling okay, but I am definitely slowing down. Takes so much energy to do the routine things in life that I'm almost ready for the baby to be here! Starting to fix up the nursery this week and just hope I still have enough energy to help DH out where I can! Chat Icon

Re: can we do re-introductions???

Hi I'm Kimberly, I'm 37 years old, an 08 bride who moved to the west coast after our wedding at the Woodlands in Oct of 08.

I'm currently 32 weeks with my first baby, a Chat Icon. EDD is 5/22. DH has a son from a previous relationship who will be turning 21 this August!

I'm feeling pretty good overall and just blessed. DH and I tried for a little over a year to get a BFP!

Re: can we do re-introductions???

hi ladies... i'm krista, cautious but so excited to join. i'm 10 weeks pregnant with my first, and still a bundle of nerves after experiencing a miscarriage at 9wks this past summer. between trying and the m/c and trying some more, until the final help of some fertility meds, it was about a year and a half process to get to this pregnancy. i pray every moment that it sticks and continues healthy.
dh and i are both from suffolk, we live in port jeff, and both work in queens and have been married since oct 2006.
our due date is 10/23/12, about a week before my 32nd bday.

Re: can we do re-introductions???

Hi - I'm Melissa. I'm 34 years old & 36w pg with our second little boy (our ds is 2 1/2). Overall this pg has been much, MUCH easier than my first so I hate to complain lol I've felt great up until the last week/week & a half and now it's just the usual late 3rd tri complaints (sleeplessness, exhaustion, pressure, aches/pains, swelling, etc. etc.) I went 2 weeks early with my 1st, so I keep wondering if it will be the same this time around!

Hi im Gillian... im 35 on dc #1. we are Chat Icon although we think we have an idea. We had a hard time getting pregnant until i learned that a brain tumor secreting prolactin was stopping us. I am currently 22w 5d, and hasnt been the best of pregnancy (definetely not the worst either). we had suffered a loss last year. I tend to be more of a stalker than a talker, but love hearing everyones stories, and if anyone needs.. im there for ya..

I have the same tumor! We were very lucky to have found mine before we TTC. Mine doubled in size during PG, but didn't bother the pregnancy. (I hear it's common when you aren't treating the tumor anymore.) But then a year later it went dormant. So I wish you the same luck! Chat Icon

Re: can we do re-introductions???

I'm Danielle and I'm 26. I am currently 14w, 3d pregnant with our first baby. I had a late term loss at 21w, 5d in April and am truly blessed we were able to get pregnant again and so far, have a healthy baby. I have had miserable MS, but I am finally feeling "normal," whatever that is.

DH and I have been married for almost 3 years, but have been together for 10.

Hi! I'm Jeri and I'm 7w4d with baby #2! I'm due 11/9! We'll find out the gender at the end of June.

My DD (Danika) is 5 now, but will turn 6 a month after this baby arrives.

DH and I got married in November 2007 and started trying on our honeymoon. We tried for 9 months before we were refered to an RE. I saw the RE for a year and then stopped seeing them and tried on our since we lost our health insurance. All in all it took us 4 1/2 years to get pregnant again.

We are so excited and DD can't wait for her sibling to get here!

My first Dr. appt is this Thursday!!!!

Happy & Healthy Nine Months to all the Mommies-To-Be!!!!
