Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hi! My name is Caroline (or Cari!) and I'm 28 years old. I am 27 weeks pregnant with my first - a . I, too, am considered slightly high risk due to slightly high BP. Nothing TOO concerning yet, but drs are keeping an eye on it. But it's been great because I have been getting more frequent ultrasounds and get to see the baby more. I'm due June 23rd and can't wait to be off all summer on maternity leave!!!
Oh, and we currently live in Manhattan and JUST got an apartment in Astoria - we move sometime in April - can't wait!!!!!!!!

Hi. My name is T. I'm 32 , have a DD whi is 4.5 yo and I'm 14 weeks pregnant. I had a missed mc in October of last year , it was a very difficult time in our lives, but god has blessed us with this pregnancy and hopefully it will continue to go well. I'm also high risk due to the previous loss .

Hi! My name is H___ (I will "out" myself once I'm out of the 1st trimester! ) I am 32, live in Queens and this will be DC #1, and I am currently 9w3d along. I had 1 miscarriage in 2009....I'm starting with a high risk practice (1st appt tomorrow, can't wait!)... I have some autoimmune issues that I hope will not become problematic during this pregnancy. I had a little scare last weekend, but baby is doing well so I hope the rest of this pregnancy is uneventful! Oh and we are team although I am secretly hoping for a

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hi im Gillian... im 35 on dc #1. we are although we think we have an idea. We had a hard time getting pregnant until i learned that a brain tumor secreting prolactin was stopping us. I am currently 22w 5d, and hasnt been the best of pregnancy (definetely not the worst either). we had suffered a loss last year. I tend to be more of a stalker than a talker, but love hearing everyones stories, and if anyone needs.. im there for ya..

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hello! I'm pretty new here so it's great to "meet" you all!
I'm Sandra and I'm 11 weeks along with our second child, due mid-october. DD is 14.5 months now and will be 21 months when #2 arrives. We are very excited!
I am from LI and got married there so I transitioned to LIF after LIW, but we moved OOS after our wedding.
I'm sick as a dog still and it has been so much worse than my first pregnancy. I relented and got zofran but I've been trying not to take it everyday. The days I don't take it, I throw up multiple times and feel awful all day, which makes running after my toddler almost impossible. But I'm hanging in there. Last time my m/s magically went away at 14 weeks. I am *really* hoping that happens again!
I'm still not "out" on fb so please don't say anything if you happen to know me there. I'm sure you ladies understand.
All the best with your pregnancies!!!

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hi, my name is Jenn. I'm 29, and this is our first. I'm from out east in Suffolk. I came from LIW last year. We just got married in November, and we were preggo by January. I freaked out a little in the beginning, but we did plan on starting right away. I've had what I call "the worst 3 months of my life" It can't possibly get any worse. I will be coming up on 15 weeks, and there is no end in sight for my ms. I too have caved in the last two weeks and am now using Zofran.
we will be finding out as soon as possible if it's a or I'm secretly hoping for a

No problems at all - except at 36 weeks I took a nasty fall and ended up having a concussion . Thankfully, my LO is perfectly fine, but I have been a mess since the fall with bad migraines. Happy and healthy pregnancies to all

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hello to all, my name is B. I'm 38 weeks today with my first, a . I had a great first and second trimester. While my third has been pretty uncomfortable, I've been lucky to have a very uneventful pregnancy!
I'm enjoying my first day off of work today and plan to take the rest of the school year as well as next year at home! I'm definitely hoping to settle on a name in the next few days and finish up a lot of little things before our LO arrives...hopefully she'll be here sooner rather than later!

Re: can we do re-introductions???
I'm Brooke and I'm 32 (will be 33 when is born). I'm due July 19th with my second. I was Team with DS and do not plan to find out until the delivery room with this one either. I have been very lucky and have gotten pregnant very easily. My first pregnacy was pretty rough and I had some complications throughout the 3rd trimester including high BP and severe swelling. I ended up on bedrest 1 month before my EDD and induced 2 weeks early. This time, my pregnancy has been much easier and I feel great. However, based on my 12 and 16 week blood work, the baby will be monitored closely for potential growth issues. Things looked good at my Level II, which definitely put me at ease. I'm a little nervous, but I'm hoping that everything is ok. I have my next growth u/s later this week.

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hi, My name is Carrie. I am 32 years old. I am 36 weeks pregnant with baby # 1 due on 4/22 We live in Mineola and I am delivering at South Nassau hospital.
My husband and I got married last July, so the baby will be here almost exactly 9 months later..... I think it was the pina coladas on our honeymoon cruise....
I had a rough go with morning sickness from weeks 7-21... and then got diagnosed with GD... But, everything looks good with the baby.
At our growth sono, the baby was measuring 6lbs, 3 oz at 35 weeks!
I'm still working and only have 9 more days til I can go on maternity leave and I can't wait...

Hi everyone. I'm Jackie. I'm 32 (will be 33 when baby arrives), and I'm 28 weeks PG with DC #1. We dealt with a lot of IF issues before this pregnancy, including several early losses, and conceived our through IVF. We will be remaining team green until our LO arrives!

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Hey all- my name is Stacey. I’m 37 and 8 months pregnant with our 1st child (a girl). I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in March of 2011, so needless to say, this pregnancy has not been a “fun” one. We live in Queens and will be married two years on May 15, which is also my newest due date.

Re: can we do re-introductions???
I'm Bonnie and i'm 14 weeks with DC#2. We are team as we were with DD. Its the best surprise in the world and i cant wait to give birth and find out whats been cooking for 9 months! DH and i both would like a boy to have 1 of each but as long as he or she is healthy i really dont care. DD is very excited to be a big sister, she refers to the baby as "My Baby". We got pregnant fairly easily both times so we were very lucky. Right now i'm just trying to spend as much time with DD as i can before theres 2. We are also in the process of trying to renovate our house which is going to be a pain because it will not be complete by the time DC#2 comes but we will figure it out.
Hope everyone is feeling well!

Re: can we do re-introductions???
Great Idea!
My name is Megan. I am 28. DH and I got married in 2008. I was an active poster, cherish83, on LIW. I live and work in Queens.
I am currently 25w1d with our first. We are expecting a . We just painted the nursery and put together his bookcase. We are just waiting for furniture now!
I had some scares throughout the pregnancy so far, NT scan showed a high neck thicknes, but luckily the bloodwork came back normal, and because I have a heart defect, I went for a fetal echo but again, Luckily, everything is normal!
I fell in 2007 and dislocated my tailbone, so I already have a weak back and now at 25w, the back pain is getting pretty bad. I am due July 8th but am hoping to go early, once I am full term, of course!
