Regarding your opportunity, I am so proud!! What you are doing is wonderful and serves as such a great example for other women in your situation. You should be so proud of yourself and I am sooo glad you are standing your ground.
Make sure you keep us posted on the details on when it airs.

Bob may technically live in the same house as you right now...but his opionion is no longer required or needed. He didn't bother to consult you, to find out if dating a woman old enough to be Amber's grandmother would effect Amber or If his lack of parenting would have any long term effects on Amber. He deciced to be a Jerk all on his own.
So if you want to do something for yourself that will make you feel good...then I say go for it. I'm sure that Amber is happier when mommy is happy.
I'm sure that my now you have a long running journal of all the crappy things he has said and done to hurt you an Amber....there is no way in the world his opionon holds any clout.

Well, the crew was here this morning and let me tell you...THAT WAS ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS I'VE EVER DONE I had so much fun and the questions were very tasteful. I'll be live on the Today Show on 5/31 getting my makeover Holy cow, I can't believe it! Stuff like this just doesn't happen to me

Well, after a crappy start to the weekend on Thursday (with the drama from STBX and his mother, who by the way, I tossed from the house after she attempted to give me drama over the whole Today Show thing), the weekend turned out pretty damn awesome
Friday night I was invited over to a friends house (Hi Debbie!) and got the chance to chill and relax w/some good friends.
Saturday I went to my Aunt's memorial and then I headed out to see John.
His brother, sister and himself took care of the baby for me (took her to Chuck E Cheese's) while I was in the city at the Hunkamania show that night for my SIL's bachelorette party. When I 1st got to his house, he had gone on a shopping spree, so I'd have something "cute" to wear out (awwhhh). The show was cheesy but I had a good time (had a few too many drinks ) I couldn't believe it was in the old Limelight - whoo-hoo. Someone pass me the glow stick Anyway, John and the baby picked me up (it was soo cute to see him pull up w/a baby seat in the car) and we crashed at his place.
In the morning, we went for breakfast and then we went to the NY Aquarium. It was amazing watching him interact w/her - picking her up and carrying her around to see the exhibits. He was totally doting on her (buying her whatever she wanted, etc.). She LOVED the place and was totally into the Seal show. Afterwards, we had pizza at L&B's and went to Coney Island for some rides. I went the Cyclone for the 1st/last time ever in my life - it was awesome!! We spent the rest of the day/night at his parents house and it was like Christmas!! The Mom bought/gave me a bunch of clothes, including two brand new Kathy Van Zeeland bags. She also bought Amber a ton of stuff, etc. His parents/siblings were running after her; playing chase, hide and go seek, ball, you name it. It was such a perfect day. It totally negated the crap that turd boy put me through. As a side note, he went away for the weekend and LEFT the house bare of any food; nothing for the cat, nothing for the dogs and nothing for Amber and myself. I had to put more $$$ on the CC's just so that my family could eat He was "punishing me" for not doing what he wanted. What a winner!
