can I ask you ladies a question??
Hello ladies, I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what the he ll is goning on, lol. I have been having really strange feelings and pains the past few days (maybe 3 or 4??) and everytime I try to look up what could be causing it ... it all leads to possiblity being pregnant. One thing.... I am on the pill! And have been for 7 years with no breaks. I also just ended my period a week and a half ago, although it was kinda light and short. My breast are REALLY sore and tender - it is even unconfitable to sleep bc they hurt so bad. And I have been having cramping - almost like right before your period but again I just had it. I have also been overly hungry???? There has to be another reason for all these things, right?? I didn't even miss any pills or anything like that?? Thanks for listening!!

You could take a test, but I didn't have any symptoms til 5 weeks PG. Our bodies play mysterious games on us...

Were you on antibiotics..sometimes that lessens the affect of the BCP

nope. The only other strange thing is that for the past few months I have been getting my period late and starting to feel like I did (during my period) before I went on the pill. We actually starting joking that the pill wasn't working for me anymore -- but I don't think that can really happen??

i agree with the antibiotics thing - it can lessen the strength of the pill...that's a fact.
i would test right now, go to lunch and get a test. It's a bad thing if you are taking birth control while pregnant (not TERRIBLE, but something that needs to be stopped ASAP)....

ortho tri cyclen low. No, I haven't talked to my gyno about it yet. Like I said - I don't think a pill can just stop working (I THINK) and I just started having these things(soreness and cramping) the past few days. I wasn't thinking about it bc I am on the pill, but now that it's not going away.....

wait - have you been taking your pill at a different time during the day????
i know when i was on it - i took it every day at noon. if i was late, i always got crampy...kinda like my body's own alarm clock, going - HI THERE, TAKE YOUR PILL!

This is really the only reason why I am starting to get freaked out. Because I wouldn't want to continue the pill if I was.

No, it's always the same time. Everyday at 8 pm lol
dangit - i was like, MAYBE!!!!!
it can't hurt to buy a test and see what it comes up with... it's 15 bucks to feel better.
if it's a BFN (big fat negative) - i'd call the doc about the new problems...

hi! i have been on the pill for 10 years. currently i am on yaz and the past 3 months on the pill for me have been annoying. my period didn't come in august (tested BFN) then september it came but very light then this past month it didn't come test BFN. so i went to my gyno and she said after being on the pill for so long ur body sort of gets used to it and thins ur uterine lining so much theres nothing to shed. so maybe thats ur case ur body's getting used to it and thats why ur PMS symptons are worse than usual. HTH. 
with that said this is my last month on the pill since not getting aunt flo stresses me out. she suggested switching to a new pill but we're going to TTC in april so we'll just use the pull and pray method for now.
