can anyone help with a blue???
driving myself crazy. about to paint my nursery for baby boy to be. we are going to do the far wall with window and ceiling and trim white or off white. now the issue is ...i dont want a boring powder blue...yet hubby isnt about grey blues or tooooo much green involved.
so far the two colors i have are "san francisco bay" 802 ...or "ive got the blues" 774
i just dont want to puke after a week in there feeling blued out kwim?
the furniture is beech wood ...very light natural wood color.
thoughs or suggestions would be very appreciated!!! tia!!

Benjamin Moore Solitude is gorgeous. We painted it in our master in the new house. We also did Lucerne in my husband's office.

may I reccommend BM Buxton Blue?
such a lovely shade.
I painted my master bedroom this color. So soothing and I have yet to get sick of it (which is saying a lot)
Get tons of compliments on it.

I have Benjamin Moore Spring Rain in my office... I have white and natural wood furniture in there and it looks nice.

My best friend did her son's nursery in Valspar Classic Navy and it is gorgeous. I also love Denim Blue by Valspar.
ETA: The Navy is actually the color under the chair rail. Over the chair rail is a nice tan color.

I'm pretty sure I color matched Denim Blue by Valspar using Benjamin Moore paint in my son's room. I love it, it is very rich.

I have beacon gray in my living room, I love it!
It's a very light bluish gray. It would look great in a nursery too.

i have buxton blue in my master br also and LOVE it!!! it's the perfect blue IMO- not too dark, light, bold, or boring.

I just read your whole post. I used San Francisco Bay on DS' nursery and I hated it! Way too bright.
Another beautiful blue is BM Santorini Blue.

We just painted my grandson's nursery this weekend Yarmouth blue from Benjamin Moore. It looks great! Their furniture is a natural cherry.

i know you said no grey-blues but i have gotten so many compliments on this color i just have to share
we did our master and the guest bedroom in this blue: Russian Blue by Behr and i absolutely love it. It took 2-3 coats to really "pop" but it is awesome
obviously not the best pic, and i can't rotate it but it's all i've got when i'm at work

I have bm philipsburg blue in my bedroom and it is a great dark blue. (not navy dark). I think you can't go wrong with a darker blue.

Just a thought- doing my son's room in two blues- A light blue which I have yet to pick- thanks for all the suggestions ladies But also doing an accent wall in BM New York State of Mind(something like that). Love the color but two dark for all four walls.

this one is Sapphire cce (I think) - the lighter color - the stripes were darker shades from the same paint chip strip
this one is blue dragon (I think)
