calling around to see about better car insurance rates
and it really bothers me everywhere you go, including just to get a rate, they run a soft credit check.
Does this bother anyone else. I have good credit but I dont like the fact it keeps getting checked.

I didn't even know they check ur credit?!? I can't even imagine how many times they checked mine when I was switching insurances!
FYI, we used Nationwide but they started increasing my rates for stupid reasons that didn't even apply to me. After getting quotes from different companies, we ended up getting State Farm, they offered us the best quote.

yes, its a soft pull, not a hard "check" but still...
