cake pop questions
ok so i wanna make these for xmas, and i have a few questions! I want to make it into an xmas tree shape (the display). So i would need green and i guess some red and white for ornaments.
1: how long do they take to do all the steps? i work retail so i am pretty shot by the time xmas comes.
2: im gunna do a box of chocolate and yellow. what frosting do i use for them?

for the chocolate Id do chocolate frosting.
For the yellow, what I did for Thanksgiving was split the cake (after it was made) in half. Half I used white buttercream, the other half I did strawberry frosting (SO GOOD!)
You can bake the cakes, mix them with the frosting and then shape them and leave them overnight in the fridge to dip the next day so its not all done at once. The dipping takes the most time.
Or since its for Christmas maybe do red velvet!

You can do any frosting you want! The more creative the better. Like pp mentioned, the dipping takes the longest. It's really easy to bake the cake and make the balls so I usually do those in one night, let them set in the fridge overnight, and then dip them the next day.
