BJ'S Cake Questions
I have never ordered a cake from BJ's and needed some expert advice! How much are they? What are the best flavors? Can they make any design you ask? My daughter wants a Wizard of Oz one for her real bday and a Disney Princess one for her Party. How long in advance do you need to order it? Any pics?

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
I think the choices were only chocolate or stawberry - but it has been a year.
They have a book you can pick from and I believe you could choose to do a picture. I think it is 48 hours on the cake.
DD had a princess cake for her 3rd birthday. The princesses lite up.

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
I did for my DS 1st bday party
I can't remb. what I got, I think I got yellow cake cause I was also doing cupcakes. I know I liked there choices better then Costco.
They did the pic for free, I know there is no writing on the cake they were afraid they would not fit it so I figured I would do it myself and I forgot I don't remb. the price but I know it was $18-20
I would def get a cake from them again. I think I order it a couple days before.

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
I just looked at them last weekend for DS! THey are $15.99 for a quarter sheet filled, with either a picture from a book they have, or you can print any picture for the same price.

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
Chocolate or strawberry and I think it depended on the size if they would do whip or butter cream. I got one of each with vanilla cake and Butter cream for christening and for 1st bday. They were a hit.

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
We get them every year. People love it.
We have done backyardigans (we provided a pic). Mickey, etc...
We have ordered 2 days in advance and even the day before (But if you want something specific, I would not chance it). Go talk to the bakery. They are really nice and will explain all your options.

Thank you so much! I have such a crazy schedule and didn't want to go all the way there to find out I couldn't get the wizard of oz cake and princess cake! I am very excited, and love the cost too!!

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
I'm tired so forgive teh dumb question:
When people are bringing a pic, is it just a picture or an edible image?

You bring them the pic, and they will make it an edible image. But then they won't write on it.
To the OP, I know I saw a princess cake, but you'll probably need a Wizard of Oz pic.

Re: BJ'S Cake Questions
I am a big fan of BJ's cakes - they eliminated my favorite filling flavor awhile back but we typically get marble with choc filling. I had them do two different princess cakes and they both came out awesome - people couldn't believe it came from BJ's. I don't think you will be disappointed :)
