Cablevision install question
I am getting the triple package for tv.phone.internet. This is a new hookup.
When I setup the install do they need to come into the house? Do I need to have all the tvs, computers, phones, in place or do I just need to know where eaxctly they are going? and if so, do I have to have the actual phones, tvs, there and ready to go?

Yes they will need to come into the house and you should have your TVs and computer set up. They will need to hook up your boxes and modem and make sure they are working.
Is the cable already run through the house?

The previous owners had verizon. There are some tv cords here and there but none of them are where my tvs will go.

I just called cablevision last week to set up same services. I was more concerned that DH would need to have computer set up but they said that was not necessary. They only required the TVs to be there but you do need to know where things are going to be set up so they can have the modem and such in the right spot

Just had mine installed on Thurs and this is true. TVs had to be there but phones and computer did not. They do not install phone jacks anyway so you have to work with what you have. You do have to at least know where the modem will go though.

we had nothing in place when they came. dh was able to check and make sure everything worked out ok afterwards when we moved the tv into our apartment.
also cablevision comes quick after we call them to say there is a problem.
