BTDT Summer moms
What do you bring your baby home in? I am due in July and I have no idea! My girls were spring and fall babies and I brought them home in long sleeved sleep and play type outfits. Help!

I'm due at the end of June and I think I'm still going to put him a long sleeve and pants (lightweight/cotton) outfit. But I'm curious to see what others say as well

My DD #1 was born in July 2009, this baby is also due this July.
I brought DD home in a onesie, hat and little boot/socks. After she was put in the carseat, I wrapped a lightly knit blanket around her legs. I'll probably do the same for this baby.

Both DS#1 and this little guy are end of July babies. For DS I dressed him in a two piece lightweight long sleeved and footed outfit with a hat because we went from a hospital with A/C to a car with A/C to a home with A/C...so...I'll most likely do the same this time around. The outfit did have a ss top too so I packed it just in case.

DS was born in July and he came home in a long sleeve cotton zip up hooded jacket with matching cotton pants, socks and a shortsleeve onesie. I was not only protecting from the cold a/c but also the blaring sun. Once we were home we took off the jacket and just made sure he was warm with a blanket. This baby is due in August and will probably do something similar.

DD was born June 25th, brought her home in a long sleeve, long pants outfit. Hospital, car, and house were all air conditioned. She was like that for the first few weeks unless we were outside.

DD was born June 10 but during a heat wave and we did the same.

DS2 was born in July. He wore a onesie and very light long sleeve top and footed pants over it. We have air conditioning and weren't outside for very long.

DD was born end of june in 2010 and it was hot out! She left in cotton pants and a short sleeve onesie with a hat and socks. We also put a blanket over her bc of the air conditioning... i think layering is the best for summer babies, bc you just never know if its a scorcher or cool breeze.

I'm due June 28th and was stuck on this too. I found a cute sweater romper with a matching hat and blanket and I'm going to put socks on him. I figure he's going from the AC hospital to the AC car to our AC apt so he should have a blanket and be covered a little bit.

I'm due mid June and my other two are winter babies. I'm planning on layers so I can adjust. Short sleeve onesie/romper. Light sweater if it's chilly. Socks/leg warmers if it's chilly. I'll also obviously have blankets snd swaddle blankets. In the hospital they never wear pants...just a long sleeve tee and swaddle blanket, so I'm kind of matching that temperature wise.

It was almost 100 degrees the day we brought DS home at the end of July. He went home is a onesie & socks. Then I just draped a blanket across the carrier when we got in the car.

DS was born the last day of July. It was over 100 degrees in VA when we brought him home Aug. 2nd. He wore a one piece onesie outfit from RL. We put a hat on his head and a blanket over him in the car.

My middle is a July baby and I brought her home in a cotton footless strechy from carters. We still had AC on in the car and house so I didn't want her in short sleeves.

same here. Due in July again and will get a similar lightweight cotton outfit for

Ditto here. DD was born in a heatwave and it was like 95 degrees the day she came home
