BTDT Moms...Question about your child's experience with the MMR shot
It's that time for Lucas to get his and while I have no problem with it...I do have a question (or two)...
Did your child have any reaction (fever, etc)?
If so, when did it happen (in relation to the shot time-wise) and for how long did the reaction last?
Is there anything I can do to make him comfortable?
Any other suggestions or things I should know?

I split it. And like always, he reacted. He had measles first and 7 days later a high fever with no other symptoms.
He runs a fever after every single vaccine! I always know to expect it...But he did NOT react to mumps...rubella is next, we'll see!

Andrew got very sick from it. He developed a rash on his face and had a very high fever. This lasted about 2-3 days. And it happened about 4-5 days after the shot.

Thanks so much everyone! I feel a little more prepared going in. Reaction or no reaction (praying for no will deal with it if there is one) I feel better knowing what to possibly expect.
