BTDT moms - contraction question
When you were in early labor, did any of your contractions feel like BH, only a bit more uncomfortable? Not exactly painful, but more intense than regular BH?

mine felt the same as bh but more consistent not really any worse until after my water broke, then forget it.

My contractions started as BH literally every 10 minutes. It wasn't until 24 hours that they became painful.

With DS I never felt them. Went to the OB's office and they told me I was having contractions and I was like 
With DD I felt crampy, like bad period cramps.

Ok, at least I know what I am looking for now. I never went into labor with DS. I was definitely having some strong BH before, but I wasn't sure if that was all they were, or possibly some mild contractions... they were very uncomfortable but not painful, all over the place (could not time them), and went away after about an hour. They are back now, but again, not bad.

Mine started off as BH and lasted that way for about 4 hrs (coming every 8-10mins)
It wasn't really until I got to L&D did they become real contractions coming every 3-4mins

Mine was a little backwards...my water broke and I was still having no contractions... then at the doc offfice they put something in me to speed things along, and wow... it's hard to explain but it was like it was stronger BH ... and just super uncomfortable, but still totally tolerable...HTH

I had BH contractions from 18 weeks til the end. Towards the end they got stronger but "real" labor was much worse. Nothing in comparison.
