Brushing teeth 16 months old
DD fights so hard when we brush her teeth. It takes 2 of us and even then I don't think we're doing such a great job. When DH isn't home to help its nearly impossible. She seems to hate her top teeth brushed even more. She actually has a stain on one of them. The dentist wasn't concerned and said it wasn't a soft spot or anything in her tooth. I've tried everything. Singing, making her laugh, letting her hold one, etc. Think a powered one will help? I see they only have them in stage 2 and up, which is 24 months. Not sure if she's too little to try. I'm desperate.

I think at that age a powered one may scare her.
Can you give her the toothbrush and let her try? Watch you brush yours?
I had a very hard time getting DS 1 to brush his teeth so I feel your pain.

DD is 14 months and it can be challenging too. I give her one to play with while I get in there and brush as well as I can. Then I let her "brush" her teeth. And I only do it once a day.
