We have to get fun toothbrushes....we have a Thomas one, that plays the Thomas song (from BRU) and a Crayola one that lights up and flashes (from CVS). We also make a game of it, we pretend that his teeth are railroad tracks and the toothbrush is the train and it drives on his teeth. Train noises and all. Also, try letting him do it himself first and then finish for him.

We had the same problem in the beginning. I got the Thomas one as well (which he loves) and then started to make a game out of it by "seeing" what he ate that day in his mouth. I'd then get him into it by asking what else he ate and then "get" it with the toothbrush. Eventually he wanted to help "get" the food too. HTHChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
