Bringing child to salon?
I have an appt for a blow dry tomorrow for an event tomorrow night. It's a small and not particularly high end place and im usually there for no more than 45 minutes. I have to keep my 5 yo home tomorrow and I just assumed I would have to cancel my appt but then I thought maybe I could just bring him? He's usually good and I'll give him a tablet to occupy him. Is this a no no?

I'd bring him! I know if my 3 year old has my iPad, he's an angel!!

Unless it's super uppity, I'd bring him - especially if you know he'll sit quietly with his tablet. My girls get their hair done the same place I do, so it's not weird to see kids at the salon. It's an upscale salon with very down to earth people.

I've done it. The girls actually love seeing my daughter. She sits quietly with her tablet. (She's almost 5)

Mine comes all the time. She loves getting her hair trimmed so I just kill two birds with one stone.

I've brought my 4 year old dd. I brought books and activity books to keep her entertained. She was fine.

At that age it's fine. They'd be happy having a long time on their IPad. I know my kids love it if they get longer than usual time on their electronics.
