Breast feeding questions
I'm still trying to figure out this whole thing with my three week old dd. I have two questions about bf:
If Dd doesn't have a long feeding I pump when she's done...I have a little from thurs and a little from Friday which combined is enough for one bottle. Can I put it in one bottle and warm it together or do I need to keep them separate and give her two bottles at one feeding?
Also how do you build up your frozen milk supply?? Dd eats typically every three hours so I don't think I can pump in between her feedings. And so unless I give her formula and pump instead I can't figure out how to save bm. typically shes on each breast for 15-20 mins...when shes only on it for 10 thsts when i pump and get maybe two ounces. Should I pump after every feeding regardless of how long she's on it? Any advice or tips are appreciated

For your first question, you can definitely store and heat the milk in one bottle.
As for building a supply, I always pumped after DD first morning feeding. Most moms have a higher supply in the morning so it's a good time to pump. I usually would wait about 30 minutes and just make sure I had at least an hour before the next feeding. Worse comes to worse, if DC surprises you and want to eat right after you pump you can still let them nurse. If they aren't satisfied you can give them the milk that you just pumped.
