Brad & Angelina Adopting again
Pax Thien is barely home and Angelina Jolie is already looking to adopt a 4th kid. Reportedly, Angie and Brad Pitt want to balance the faces of their family.
A source said, "Angelina and Brad want to make sure Zahara doesn't feel alienated as the only black face in their family. She feels the children need a balance of faces in their life."
Anyway, Angie has already settled on a girl from Oure Cassoni in Chad. Her lawyers are already at work. Angie is hoping to have her new girl by Summer.

OK I know they have money and I know they have the resources (help, nannies etc) to care for these children; but they are getting a bit nuts now. I mean really you are up to 4 kids and still want more?? My god I think 2 it a lot IMO.

If this is true, I really think she has a screw loose. The kids they already have need time to adjust to the situation. They should be focused on Pax and when he's adjusted to life in America then consider adding to the family.
We have a family friend who adopted an older child from Russia about 6 months ago and she's still adjusting. She's doing well considering, but she's still learning the language, getting used to the differences in food, culture, etc.

I think it is fine to adopt children if by doing that, they have a better life. But if the rationale is to have a "balance of faces," it just makes the adoption process seem a bit to easy when it isnt. I know people who have been on waiting lists for quite a long time for foreign adoptions.
I think Zahara will know something is up when she is old enough to relalize her parents and siblings look nothing like her or each other. Foreign and interracial adoptions happen all the time. I am sure she is being raised knowing that she was wanted and that she is loved regardless of who gave birth to her. Having a sibling of the same race may or may not make a difference to her at this point. A family is what you make it.

OK this is some sort of weird addicition.......It has to be.....
I mean I am glad that these children will live a good life and that she is helping, but this is too much. She did not even unpack from picking up Pax yet!

Why would she think it would bother Zahara, she looks nothing like the rest of the family anway!!! So there will be 2 of them that look nothing like the rest, that's better?
And to use this reason to adopt another child is pretty lame and shallow, IMHO.

I agree. I feel like they should take some time to get to know Pax and make him feel comfortable in the family. This was a major life change.

hum, maybe she should work on that staying at home thing she promised last time first.
Don't get me wrong, it is very nice of her to want to help all of these children, but they all have two very absent parents. Money doesn't replace everything.

I agree...not only can she provide for 10 children...it took her almost a year to get Pax...she started the process either pregnant with Shiloh or when Shiloh was a newborn. So if she starts a process now for another child it can take a year which she'll have with Pax.
And she had said from the moment she adopted Maddox that she wanted to adopt many children and that was her talking while being a single mother...now she has a supportive partner...so I applaud them....that's one less child in poverty, one less child that is not receiving the love and attention that every child deserves.
