Bleeding post section
Evening all!! I am a little over 2 weeks post c section. Still bleeding pretty constantly dark red. Today I had a lot of clots as well, nothing too large though. Does this sound normal? Also, how did you limit yourself post section? (Outside of the no sex/exercise). My husband thinks I am doing too much and wants me to put my older 2 back in daycare for a while. They are currently on a break from daycare. Thank you ladies.

Re: Bleeding post section
I bled for weeks after both of my C-sections. Probably a good 4-6 weeks. It's normal to be bleeding a lot and passing clots.
ETA - I didn't drive the first two weeks post C-section. I didn't lift anything heavier than the baby for a few weeks. Did not bend over too much. I was pretty chill for a few weeks so I could heal well and return back to normal.

Re: Bleeding post section
I experienced some clots post c-section. As for how much is too much, I think you just need to listen to your body. Don't overdo it. I know when I pushed myself, I felt it afterwards.
It's tough though cause everyone tells you to be careful, but it's only you there with the kids, so what do you do?!?!

Bleeding post section
I delivered on the 21st and am still bleeding. My incision actually opened and I am now making daily visits to the dr so he can repack it with gauze. Good times.

Bleeding post section
I had bleeding and clots (some very large) for four weeks. I took it easy the first week, then overdid it and started bleeding heavily w a lo of pain. Take it easy as long as you can.

Re: Bleeding post section
I must not be the norm, as I only bled for about a week and a half. Still have some minor spotting almost 4 weeks post section.
