BJ's vs Costco Cakes

Has anyone tried both?
Which is better?
I have a membership to both places so I can do either.
Also, I know they do picture cakes but will they do a theme cake like Mickey, Princesses, etc?
Or just put a picture on the cake?

bjs! they have an entire book of themes. cinderella, mickey, flag of zimbabwe... they go tyou covered . ( both places)

i love bjs though

also get their chocolate layer cake its like 10 layers of heaven, approx 12$. but keep that just for yourself

we also have membership to both, but I haven't eaten a Costco cake.

I always go to BJ's because they have a larger variety of decorations (themed cakes). When I went to Costco to look, they only had the generic designs and photos, nothing else.

Many of the themed cakes at BJ's includes the figurines to put on top and they come out great.

Can't comment on Costco, but BJs cakes are great tasting and cute. We did the huge full sheet last year for DS's 2nd birthday and plan on using them again for this upcoming 3rd birthday. They have a book you can flip through with character stuff, and like a pp said, it includes design and 3d toppers for the same price.

I prefer the taste of costco cakes, but BJs has more choices.

BJ's vs Costco Cakes

I like BJ's cakes, I got DH a Batman cake for his 30th last year from there... yes, a grown man got a BATMAN cake, because that's what he asked for. They had a lot of theme options to select from.
