If your child cannot attend the party, do you still send a gift?

DS in day care, will be 3 in February, if that matters!

nope. We get invited to parties every few months cause DS has been in daycare for so long that it is sometimes to kids he was in class with an not anymore. We only buy gifts when we can attend.
