Bikini Waxing and Pregnancy...

Anyone go for waxing while pregnant? I was just reading about it and read some things that said it was a lot more painful...anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks!!!

Re: Bikini Waxing and Pregnancy...

I went about a month ago when I was 13w. To be honest it didn't feel any different from before I was pregnant. But I've been regularly getting bikini waxes for the past 5 years.

I went. It wan't much more painful. Actually the hair is growing back a little slower so it was actually a bit less painful.

Re: Bikini Waxing and Pregnancy...

Last time I went, I thought it hurt a lot more, that night I got my BFP...I've been afraid to go back ever since, specially I didn't want to deal with the discomforts of pregnancy and waxing. Now I am 33 weeks and I am going to make an appointment to hopefully go this week. Shaving is impossible for me now, and I want to get back to the waxing ( I don't want to give birth in this condition Chat Icon ) Hope it won't be so badChat Icon

Re: Bikini Waxing and Pregnancy...

I had my appointment today....and it was great! The pain was not more than it usually is. I dont know if it gets worse later in the pregnancy. I'm only 8 weeks. So happy waxing!!!!

Re: Bikini Waxing and Pregnancy...

I went at the beginning and it actually took my mind of my morning sickness and all I was thinking was I couldnt wait to come back so I dont have to feel nauseous again! Chat Icon Chat Icon Now I'm due to go early next week, and I'm not as nauseous anymore so I'm not sure how I will feel about it. I still plan on going though.
