A chemical is basically a very early loss before 5wks or so. There's no way to tell if this will be a chemical just based on an HPT, as all that means is your beta is at least 30 or so. The only thing you can do now is wait and see that the lines get darker and make a dr appt! GOOD LUCK!!
Yup. Unfortunately, two times I had positive HPTs and digitals but ended up with chemicals about a week after. Hope this is it for you though! Congrats.

ITA. HPTs have nothing to do with chemicals. but regardless if you dont have a history of chemicals, no reason to assume this would be one. considering you are really still very early, your HPTs are going to be very light for a few more days til the beta rises.
