BF moms - supply ?
i've noticed, when i pump, that i get about 2 - 3 oz from one side and about 1.5 - 2 oz from the other. i want to increase my supply as i want to start freezing some for daycare...
any tips from experienced BF moms - anything special to do/eat? thanks in advance

I'm sure you'll get lots of helpful answers, there are great 'experts' on here!!
I've heard oatmeal helps increase your supply, as well as something called Mother's Milk, I think it's a supplement, and some other herb that starts with an 'f'. Very helpful I'm not, sorry 
I'll help you bump it though!!

thanks ladies...i guess i'll have to attempt to eat oatmeal - never liked it. i wonder why it increases supply...hmmm
im going to google fenugreek cause ihave no clue what that is

ita a natural herb makes u smell like maple syrup. u can buy in the vitamin stores

Drink lots and lots of water -- also try the oatmeal and the fenugreek.

Fenugreek is 3 pills, 3 times a day. Oatmeal, I swear, made my DD cranky but I do drink tons of water. I also drink the Mother's Milk tea but that alone, I'm told by the lactation consultant, won't increase your milk too much.

~ oatmeal - the real kind, not the flavored kind in the packets
~ Yogi Tea - it's some kind of tea for lactating moms. I drink a cup every night, and I saw results by my next pumping session.

I started pumping on the nights he slept through. That really helped give me extra. I've also heard of others pumping right after the first morning feed. Good luck!!!

The LC I have spoken to just mentioned pumping consistently at the same time to help supply. Over the course of 3-4 days you will see an increase during that time. She said best to let baby eat and then immediately pump.
