BF Moms - Nipple infection??

Sorry for TMI but one nipple some how got pretty dry and cracked on the side. Now it's been horrible to pump and nurse. I am using lansinoh but it isn't healing the wound - just lubricating it. I was just pumping now at work and it's bleeding and oozing What else can I do?
DH says I have to stop "using that one". But I have such a low supply now with Colin on table food and 10 months - I don't want to dry up completely.
Help - this is painful!!

it could be a yeast infection! ask your gyno, maybe they can give you some meds for that! That helped me once! But def dont stop...unfortunately my only advice is to power through it! =( I agree def dont want to dry up if you are not ready! Can you manually express it so it is less agitated!?!?!? i would also leave a little breast milk on it if poss and not put bra/cloth directly on it so the breast milk works it's magic and heals it!

good luck!When I had some bleeding issues, for some reason I would pump about an oz of milk/blood combo (gross sorry TMI) and then it would stop for some reason..I would dump the grossness and then just keep pumping the milk only! weird i know!

Holy moly - it feels like continual purple nurples - OUUUUCCCHHHHHHH

I started bleeding - A LOT - the other day while I was pumping and DH offered me a bandaid - for the side of my nip
