BTDT Moms: Nipple Question

When did you switch to Level 2 nipples? I'm finding at 12 weeks old, Reilly is eating less than she had been the last few weeks. Her 3 month ped appt isn't until next Friday so I figured I ask you girls... Should I move her to Level 2 nipples? I'm thinking that she needs a faster flow and that is why she is eating less. Ideas? Anyone been thru this too?

I moved DD to the level 2 nipples at 2 months and the level 3 nipples at 4 months. She was taking too long to eat and was getting frustrated!

She never had a problem. Try it, you can always go back if she can't handle it.

i moved DS to the next level at 3 months. he liked them but was getting waaay too gassy - the flow was too fast and he had to gulp so he took in a lot more air, even though we use drop-ins.

we went back to the slow flow and even though it takes him a long time to finish the bottle, he is a happier baby.

try it, it can't hurt! you can always go back, we did!

Thanks for the responses girls! She takes forever to eat too so I guess with her next feeding I will try it. And you're right LB- I could always go back to the #1s.
