Isn't there a train or bus through Port Authority?

ETA: If you mean Newark Airport, not just Newark, stay on the train to the airport.

Where are you headed in Newark?

You can take any New Jersey Train that stops in Newark. But, there are two stations -- one is Broad Street and the other is Newark "Penn" Station. Newark Penn is the main hub so you probably want that.

Alternatively, you can take the PATH to Newark, but you may have to change trains. It stops at Newark Penn Station as well.

NJ transit, North East Corridor line out of Penn will get you to Newark Penn station. To Newark Airport you'll need a local train (or on the board look for the trains that say EWR intitals next to it. that means it makes the airport stop..the express service doesnt stop at the air port stop.

I take NJ transit every day from Trenton..so if there are delays i get off at Newark Penn station and take the path to christopher street. From 33rd you can take the 33rd st path line to Journal square, hop off and transfer to the WTC path line and that goes into Newark Penn station.
