Best Honeymoon Ideas
SIL is getting married next year and I'm giving her ideas for her HM.
Figured since most of us on here have been on a HM already you can help me give her ideas.
Over 4 years ago DH and I went to the Grand Hyatt in Kaui and Maui.
LOVE, LOVED IT!! I'd do it again if we had the time, money, etc.
Recommended that one to them.
She's also considering an all inclusive.
When DH and I first were looking I wanted Greece and DH wanted Hawaii. Now it would either be Hawaii, Fiji or Antigua.
Please tell me where you think is the best place?

No Aruba... we have a timeshare there and go every year.

I went to Bora Bora and it was absolutely amazing!!! We stayed in an overwater bungalow..and it was breath taking!
It was def. once in lifetime trip!

i loved maui and kauaii
i went to europe and LOVED it..rome and the french riviera were my favorites
my bf and i are going to costa rica next month and im insanely excited..it looks so beautiful

We did Hawaii, but if we had the time and money, we would have done Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand, and Australia. (Not all at once of course).

We went to Moorea and Bora Bora and it was hands down the most amazing trip and beautiful places!
We've been to Hawaii too and loved it - Maui was my personal favorite of all the islands.
We went to Italy which was one of my dreams and I'd highly recommend it, but for a honeymoon it's tricky since it's not a "resting and relaxing" kind of honeymoon, so it really depends on the people. We wanted to chillax after a year of planning a wedding and moving in together too, so we did Italy a few years later.
I've always wanted to go to Australia - that seems like an amazing trip.
We were also considering St. Lucia for the honeymoon which I've heard great things about.

we went to Belize. There are no big hotel chains on the barrier islands which I loved. We stayed on Ambergris Caye and you get to everything by golf cart or boat.

Thailand- Krabi (Amari Vogue) or Khao Lak (The Sarojin) for beach and Bangkok (J.W. Marriot or AriyasomVilla) for city!
Anguilla - Cap Juluca or Cuisinart resorts.
Nevis - Four Seasons or one of the hotels on the mountain. I would avoid The Nisbet Plantation. Not a fan.
Dubai and Maldives - Been staring at the Banyan Tree Hotel on Tripadvisor. Looks amazing!
Australia, New Zealand and Solomon Islands - Tavanapupu Resort for barefoot luxury.
India - Casa Colvale in Goa and Trident Hotel in Mumbai.

I've seen pics from friends' hms at the Maldives and its 
We did St Thomas and St John and we loved each one dearly! The only bad thing was it was end of june/early july and it was HOT HOT HOT! so we were snorkeling A LOT!

Hawaii! We stayed at Hyatt in Kauai and it was beyond amazing. I feel so sad that we may never make it back.
Maui is amazing too we will go back when kiddies are older

Amalfi Coast
It was an amazing experience. We are currently saving to go back on our 5 yr anny.
If Italy hadnt of worked out, we were going to of gone to Bora Bora.

We went to Paris, Florence, and Capri. I had been to all three of these destinations before, multiple times even, but doing it on your honeymoon - so grand - and with your new husband is just magical. So romantic. We definitely did a lot of sightseeing, but also spent a lot of time lounging at cafes and trattorias, drinking wine, and just enjoying the romance of it. Would do it exactly the same way all over again!!
Our hotel in Paris was only ok (and yet $$$), but in Florence and Capri, we went big. Ferragamo's hotel in Florence:

We did a two parter. The big part was Sandals La Toc on St. Lucia. We fell absolutely in love with the resort, the island, the people, everything. Can't wait to go back.
Part 2 was Disney World, which was magical and a LOT of fun
