Bed rest after et

My first cycle I did, because I was in a lot of pain. My last fresh cycle....no. After your transfer you may want to take it easy the day of, but the following day I went to work I just didn't do any heavy lifting or anything.

Bed rest after et

I was on modified bed rest the day of and the day after my transfer. I've heard mixed reviews of whether its necessary or not, but my doctor believes in it so I did it.

My RE felt very strongly about it. I was on complete bedrest the day of ET. I wasn't allowed to climb stairs or get out of bed except to use the restroom. I was on modified bedrest the next 2 days after. I spent those 3 days eating pineapple core and walnuts, and drinking grape juice. I basically did anything I'd heard/read about. DD will be 2 months tomorrow.

I didn't do bedrest but I did take off the week of the transfer due to long commute and stressful job. Didn't help, was a BFN.

I was not on strict bedrest, but I took it easy both days. I got a valium for the ET so that day I was sleepy anyways. The next day, I sat around watching tv all day. End result both times - BFN.

i took a few days off but i def wouldnt call it bedrest. i honestly wouldnt have even taken off but i had OHSS and i commuted to the city and it really hurt to walk on the cement. i ended up taking off the day of the ER (friday), recovered over the weekend, went back to work monday and tues, then the ER was wed morning and i took off the rest of the week but worked from home as needed. it def helped by the time i went back to the office i was feeling better - until i got my BFP and OHSS started to set in as the betas rose.. but thats a different issues altogether Chat Icon
