I actually don't understand the goatee...  Are you trying to grow a beard, and some of it just isn't coming in right, or did you try and shave and ran out of time?

I LOVE when DH is scruffy from not shaving all weekend but a full beard - no way. The only one I like that on is McSteamy

not really a fan of beards, but... i do love when DH has a little scruff. It depends on the guy though--- luckily, DH is able to pull off the scruffy look (though he only does it on the weekends) without looking dirty- not all guys have that same luck.

Me too - my DH has had a goatee since the day I met him, over 10 years ago. He went thru a phase where he grew a beard and it was so gross-- it was like living with Paul Bunyn (sp?). He shaved it after months of me telling him how gross it was and went back to his goatee.

OMG this is so true. I remember one time when I was a kid my dad shaved off his mustache and I was so upset. That is the only time he has been without one in over 30 years. Sometimes I wonder if he wants to get rid of it but doesn't because of our reaction back then.

I asked DW about this. As I mentioned earlier, I've had a beard since about 11th grade, so I don't think DW has ever seen me without one.
However, she said that not all guys can pull it off. It really depends on the guy's face, and how the beard is coming in.
After it's in for a while, it's actually pretty soft....

Love a goatee on my husband. He shaved it off like 3-4 months ago & I threatened divorce. LOL Happy to say he let it grow back.
I think I'm a sucka for goatee's.
