Re: bday cake for a dog
My mother always just made a regular cake so the family could eat the rest. She would just give the dog a slice.

Re: bday cake for a dog
I always make my 3 year old JRT carrot cupcakes. It's all natural and actually tastes pretty good.
I can't remember the exact recipe; but i know it had 1 cup shaved carrots, some nutmeg; flower; yeast; and apple sauce all mixed together and then baked. It doesn't really rise. But my dog LOVES them!

Same here, plain yellow cake with vanilla frosting. Orrrrrrr, if you wanna go the extra mile- peanut butter frosting.

Once a year.... it's a treat. Probably just as healthy for them as it is for us.

I can't imagine why not... none of the ingredients in them are harmful to dogs. It's not like you're throwing chocolate and onions in it! lol!

No onions, no garlic, no grapes and no raisins. All can cause kidney failure.
