Getting frustrated, cannot find a dog cake I want to make
I want to make DD's cake each year, and made a cute one last year. I reallllllly want to find a super-cute dog cake to make for her party this year, but I'm not really finding anything I LOVE online, and dog-shaped cake pans are impossible to find anymore for some odd reason (I don't want to buy used ones off of Ebay).
If anyone's bored, any inspirations would be greatly appreciated. I've spent HOURS searching online and am just not loving anything.
I'm up for a challenge of creating a cake, but I don't want one that's SUPER-DUPER hard, KWIM?

SO you would be ok doing just the dogs face maybe?
That could be sort of not that hard right? 
I found a site that tells you how they made it witout cake pans.

I assume you've been to Michael's and AC Moore.....

Yeah, even one with the whole dog would be fine, if it's not super-complicated, you know? Last year's cake was easy, but took a lot of time. I'll have my mom helping me, so we're up for a little challenge, but nothing where I'd need a pastry degree, you know?
I just am not loving ANYTHING I've found lately.  I'm a pain!

How about making a simple tired cake and decorating with doggies and stuff all around? Like this cake maybe?

Yup, been there. For whatever reason, they no longer make dog-shaped cake pans, even Wilton!  
Have you seen the cake I made DD last year? It was such a simple premise, but came out SO cute! I'm having a hard time finding a puppy that's equally as cute

Did you call the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale?? They might have a pan available.

No, I didn't...I actually have never been there but have heard great things! I'll call them today-- thank you!
