WOW...They came out Beautiful! Great job
I give you credit...just the thought of redoing those bathrooms would have given me a panic attack. And I definitely would have run from this house.
I did have panic attacks. I was so scared to do it because I did not want to make "mistakes". Fortunatelly my contractor did one bathroom at a time so I still had 1 functional bathroom in the house at all time during the demo/remodel.
I actually did not buy the house. DH did before we met. To be fair, the ceiling had a drop down ceiling that was ripped last year due to mold issues. It was a make shift drop ceiling in bare wood and plaxiglass..... it was horrendous but it covered those pipes and electrical. DH actually bought that white vanity and toilet downstairs. So the bathroom was actually worst than that when he bought the house.
For those who asked.
Complete job estimated at $11K for both bathrooms (including labor). I did not reconcile the whole total yet because I am still returning left over at Lowe's, etc..
We spend a bit over $7K in labor for both bathroom.
Complete gut job. Both bathrooms were back to the studs.
Contractor provided new insulation, cement boards, drywall, doors, windows (I upgraded the windows and paid for the difference!).
We provided the rest: cast iron tub, vanity combo, lighting, toilet, tile and grout, paint (we spent $$ on paint because I wanted all to be BM Natura (no voc) even the primer (no voc) and I had 2 different colors on both bathrooms , faucets, accessories, etc...

And he will be back at our house after he goes to your house.
We loved him so much.........he is going to redo our living room. Just as dramatic as the old bathrooms.

Everything is from Lowe's except the toilet. The faucets and tub I got from HD because it was cheaper than from Lowe's.
