Bathroom project/demo.... CHECK!!!! TONS OF PICS!
As you can see, this was a complete gut job in 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms are small.
Our contractor did a fantastic job. Started on a Friday to demo... ended the job yesterday on a Wednesday. So not even 2 weeks.
Both rooms were gutted all the way to the studs, even the insulation was changed. New windows, etc....
UPSTAIRS BATHROOM:
I refused to touch that curtain (eewww!!!). It was there when we bought the house. It was removed by the contractor. We rarely use this bathroom. We have a Levitt house. It is located right on top of the stairs. It was originally a closet (most people do not have a bathroom like us!). I think at some point the closet was changed to a bathroom. With the blue toilet... you can tell that was not done yesterday! The "sink" was a kitchen sink because when we bought the house, the upstairs had been already converted to an apartment for a tenant. Kitchen was in one of the bedroom and sink was in bathroom.... NO COMMENTS!!!!
We got most of the supplies at Lowe's. I ordered the faucets (Delta Venetian Bronze) at HD online because they were much cheaper than at Lowe's. Paint upstairs is BM Carrington Beige (Natura). I needed a "lighter" beige because the space is dark to begin with. It has an undertone of green but barely noticeable.
Here is the before..... and the after.
And NOW!!!!!!

DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM
We ended up using the same as upstairs. I did change the paint color. I picked BM Shaker Beiger (Natura).
The ceiling was a previous half gut job because of mold issues last year. I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting to change that bathroom. What can I say about the blue tub??? Really? You can see I was still using DS' baby bathtub. I refused for him to sit in that tub. Now... we can dispose of the baby tub.
The window is def. original minus my stick on privacy film. So no more aluminum windows. The ceiling is now back to a ceilng and we have now drywall on the whole wall. DS was never allowed in the bathroom.
Both vanities upstairs and downstairs are from Lowe's. It came as a complete piece with the granite top and undermount sink.
Toilet (which I love!!!!) is American Standard (Oakmont).
Tile is porcelain.
We are missing a mirror both downstairs and upstairs. So I am on the hunt.
Seeing this old bathroom on pics is making me realize that is was even worst that I imagined.

AND NOW.....

Actually it was dark green not black. Just to add interest with the turquoise blue toilet.

Re: Bathroom project/demo.... CHECK!!!! TONS OF PICS!
Thanks everyone! We love the results. DH thanked me this morning for "guiding" him into what would look best for our house/taste. We wanted neutral but also crisp and clean looking. We did bronze hardware because we did not want to have a "wash" out effect.
