Bathing suit with built in cloth diaper
I signed up DD for Saf-t-Swim and was told she needs a disposable and cloth diaper. The woman said they sell bathing suits with them built in but I would prefer to get them elsewhere. Where can I buy them? Are the swim diapers considered disposable or do I use a regular diaper? I feel regular would just fall apart!

Over the summer BBB has them - I think they are called iPlay.
Not sure about regular vs. swim diapers at saf-t-swim.

Re: Bathing suit with built in cloth diaper
Huggies and pampers sell disposable swim diapers. You can even buy them at the supermarket. Those diapers dont absorb pee they are meant to contian #2 accidents . The disposable goes on first then they have to wear a swim trunk with a cloth diaper built in. I went to their bellmore location for classes and they never check the diapers so you could probably get away with the disposable plus a regular swim trunk. However, if a kid goes #2 in the pool they pool is evacuated immediately so it can be cleaned and everyone's lesson is terminated since the process takes a long time. I never wanted to be the cause of something like that so I always made ds wear both. I couldn't find the swim trunk with built in diaper so I just bought it from them. They had a sale buy one get one half off.

Re: Bathing suit with built in cloth diaper
We bought one from there this year but in the past we purchased the plastic Gerber diaper things that you put over a cloth diaper. We put on the pampers disposable diaper, then the plastic diaper cover then the trunks. Now we just use the disposable and put the swim trunks with the cloth diaper in them over it. It was really cheap from saftswim when dh got it last month

Re: Bathing suit with built in cloth diaper
Saf T Swim Bellmore location told me I could just double up on the disposable swim dipes.
You can just use two of the Huggies lil swimmers.
I bought DD an Imse Vimse tankini from Amazon. The bottom is considered a reuseable swim diaper. eta: So I put on a Huggies Lil Swimmer dipe plus the rubber tankini bottom.
