Bathing and diaper rash - help!
DS had been pretty sick last week with what we think was Roseola. I wasn't bathing him as much as usual, since he was so weak, and so was I (since I catch some version of EVERYTHING the child gets). Anyway, the last two times I have tried to give him a bath, he has freaked out and I am trying to figure out why.
He has a diaper rash right now, probably the worst one he has had to date (he usually doesn't get them) and I am wondering if that is why he won't sit down in the tub. He normally loves taking a bath, so I am confused by the sudden change.
We did try to transition him to the big tub a little over a week ago, which he freaked at too, but he has bathed back int he baby bathtub since then, so I am not sure that was what did it.
Any ideas or suggestions?

When DD has bad diaper rash I use this soap and balm and it clears up in a day or so.

When dd has gotten a bad diaper rash, I skip the bath for a couple days until it starts to clear up. A bad rash make it unbearable for her too.
