Based solely on heartrates...

I'm pretty sure I'm having another boy. I have a doppler at home and the babys heartrate has been in the upper 130's lower 140's. This was the same as my son's heartrate was. That's the only reason I'm thinking it's another boy. From everyone I've talked to if they had a girl the heartrate was 150's-160's. From your experience, what was the average heartrate of your little one when you were around 14-15 weeks? Thanks!

Re: Based solely on heartrates...

Honestly - I am not sure if that works, cause my babys heartrate in the beginning of my pregnancy was in the 150's, then it has been in the 130's/140's and now it is back to the 150's again. So it is all over the place Chat Icon

Re: Based solely on heartrates...

Around 14-15 weeks my littleChat Icon 's heartrate was in the high 130s, and by 19 weeks it was 142-146.

I go for weekly non stress tests and at almost 35 weeks, her heartrate still hangs between 140-155

Ryans heartrate was normally about 130-140 also. My mom has told me that for me and my sister our heartrates were always about 150-160.

Re: Based solely on heartrates...

Thanks for the replies!

The responses are very interesting to me. I ALWAYS thought that low meant boy and high meant girl. I'm still leaning towards that it's a boy, but I guess there's still that chance that it's a girl! We don't have a preference. We've been through so much already with this PG that we'd be happy with a healthy baby, boy or girl!

Now I'm starting to feel like I want to find out more than not. Chat Icon Maybe we'll find out and just not tell anyone! Chat Icon

I'm starting to get more excited!
