Bad news....
I have my egg retrieval today.....I had NO MATURE EGGS.....My body did not respond to the Ovidrel. I had 10 follicles, lining looked great, but the meds didn't work. They tested my blood and I had hcg in there, which indicated that the Ovidrel was in my system, but for some crazy reason, my body didn't "like it". I'm so depressed, I can't even tell you. And to top it off, today is my 2-year wedding anniversary, but I feel so down, I can't even be happy about anything....
The doctor said that there are other triggers I can try and not to lose hope. So, now I wait for AF, start the BCP and do all this crap all over again.....Huge let-down....The ONLY silver lining I can find is that my insurance is covering IVF.....I have to be thankful for that...
I may not be on for awhile, I need some time to feel sorry for myself....I sound pathetic, I know....

I'm so sorry. I'm honestly surprised that they used Ovidrel for a retrieval. My office uses HCG, intramuscular injection, to be taken at an EXACT TIME, so don't lose hope. There are other triggers out there.
Its unfortunate that this happened and that a cycle went downt the drain, but there are positive things like knowing what works for you and also knowing your insurance company covers it.
Lots of luck in your upcoming cycle. I hope AF shows up quick for you so you can get the ball rolling.

I know its hard but try to stay positive for next month and DO try to enjoy your anniversary. With so many dissapointments in this sucky IF process we need to celebrate when we can

I am so sorry...that really sux...
Like Lauren said, I am surprised that with only 10 follies they used Ovidrel for ovulation. The only time I used Ovidrel was the time they were trying to prevent OHSS...other than that both RE's that I went to used HCG for a trigger.
