Bad dreams about your baby?
Does anyone have them? I had such a horrible dream last night about my baby..I dont want to go into detail about it because I dont want to remember it but it was just horrible. I hope the baby is ok..anyone else have nightmares?

I've had nightmares since being preg but nothing involving a baby. Most involved knives, blood, and fire. Really crazy stuff. No dreams of baby at all yet. Makes me sad

I have had bad dreams involving babies...but luckily not involving MY baby. Some very disturbing dreams though ---- I think our sleeping imaginations are very active when we are pregnant...unfortunately!

I was just reading in my "great expectations" pregnancy book and it's VERY common to have nightmares about the baby. Things like giving birth to a devil/monster, deformities, etc Basically, it has to do with your anxieties and natural worries, not a premonition anything bad will happen

I have THE weirdest and most horrible dreams while pregnant. They are VERY disturbing and I always wake up thinking WTFFFFFF???? I don't even watch scary movies and I'm sure some of these would be box office hits. I also have some random weirddddd dreams. I haven't had any about my baby, but I do think it's normal to have very active dreams when pregnant.

ive dreamt of the baby, but nothing bad
but I have nightmares on a nightly basis...
lots involving murder...being shot, run over, stalked then killed...lotsa fun!!!
sometimes they are just depressing, a friend of mine that was dying and in the hospital we all had to go say goodbye...
TSUNAMIS!!!!!!!! i tend to have tsunami dreams, but I have them more often now...
it's one of the things I hate most about being pregnant...cuz im a big scaredy cat, i hate having bad dreams

OMG! I had the most horrible dream Sunday night about my baby I woke up and it took me a minute to understand everything was OK. Like I need one more thing to worry about. I am 11 weeks and this was the 2nd horrible dream I had.

Yes I've had bad dreams.....same as you I wouldn't even be willing to repeat them. But it's just your subconscious working out all your fears and anxieties like others have said. You can't control your dreams unfortunately.

I had a few bad baby dreams when I was pregnant with DS. Mostly involving losing him and one that really disturbed me was me waking up in the hospital having already delivered and having no recollection of it and everyone refusing to let me see the baby. I also had other very vivid nightmares throughout my pregnancy. I remember reading in one of my pregnancy books that it is totally normal. Still very disturbing and upsetting though

During my first pregnancy I had a few horrible miscarriage/ stillbirth dreams. It sucked- but everything turned out just fine. Then once he was born I had a few SIDS dreams. Eh. Par for the course I suppose.

omg i thought i was the only one! had a really scary dream that baby's limbs had black scales and were missing digits. totally freaked me out and i still remember it weeks after!!!

With all mine I had bad and wierd dreams ! I think with all the changes our bodies go through ,and our minds racing about all the good and bad things , our minds just run with it
