bad day
this was our last natural IUI cycle before making the leap to IVF. This entire month i have been crampy and thinking that quite possibly this would be the month. I had a dream that I tested and saw a BPF and it was so real seemed a sign. AF was due yesterday and nothing. So me not wanting to get excited, I POAS and bam "BFN". Devastated and defeated I didnt even tell DH i tested. Im at work and the cramps have kicked in high, so today AF will probably show.
Im so over it. I want to throw in the towel. The thought of doing IVF with all the meds and emotional investment without the BFP is killing me already. I dont know how some of you girls get through it. I havent started and I feel defeated already.
Thanks for listening I feel better that I can throw this out to you and some can relate to me. At least there is some comfort in that. I am having a hard time staying positive.

I am in your exact position. I just had my 3rd failed IUI (b2b, so total of 5) and am contemplating IVF. After 2 years trying natural and 4 months with a re, I sometimes feel there is no hope for me I am terrified of IVF. The disappointment and frustration is overwhelming and some days are harder than others for sure. At some point everyday lately, I want to quit, but I KNOW I am not ready to give up. I won't give up till I have my baby. I have no choice, I HAVE to keep trucking.
There are so MANY amazing women here who offer me inspiration everyday with their stories. They have been through so much and STILL have the perseverance to keep going for YEARSSS. I know if they can, I can, and you can too! We are all here to support each other.
Miracles happen everyday.

Thank you. I do need that inspiration from all of you ladies. Its one big rollercoaster ride that is nice to have friends on. Im on the verge of tears here at work and cant stand it. I may take you up on the FM offer and vice versa.

Please don't give up or think the worst of IVF.
It is a tough process but we are all on this road to be mommies and if these are the cards that God gives us, then that is what we will have to play with.
When my IVF cycle failed and had nothing to freeze, I cried more about having to go through the process again, then my BFN.
But now I am in my second cycle, shots and meds and all, and I find myself so hopeful and excited at the possibility of being pregnant in the next few weeks.
Hang in there!

It's so hard to have an unsuccessful cycle after putting in all the work with meds, etc ... Such a horrible, defeated feeling....
You really don't know for sure though until AF shows up. I KNOW how annoying that is for people to say that to you when you are sooo sure AF is on her way!!  I have been there... and when people told me to hold onto hope until "AF showed her ugly face" I kind of wanted to punch them in the head! 
Anyway... we have all been there and can absolutely relate!

Aww, I am sorry hun I do not know this from my personal experience, but I did read a lot on it, and your chances with IVF truly sky rocket. The chances of IUI working are not that high, but they increase dramatically once you move to IVF. I have no words of wisdom that would make you feel better now, but once AF is gone, I am sure you will feel more positive and hopeful about the whole ordeal. There is no way back, only forward!
