Bad Acid Reflux
I am 11DPO and for the past two days, I am getting acid reflux after everything I eat. This is absolutely not normal for me. I am also sick with a sinus infection or bronchitis. My only other symptoms is terrible tenderness in my breasts and fatigue. My back hurts a little, but that is definitely sciatica and related to my back issues. No cramps or anything.
Okay, now where was my question?
Right now, knowing my preggo status is of interest to me more than usual because the 2WW is causing me not to take medicines that would make this whole sickness thing better.

i know sometimes when i get bad sinus infections i get acid reflux from the post nasal drip..gross i know..
what medicines cant you take in the 2WW?

Robitussin with codeine. It is my lifeline when I get anything like bronchitis!
You get reflux from the PND? I never have? Weird, huh? I also tried neutral foods and honey, which coats your throat.

i've had wicked acid reflux all my life - and it gets MUCH worse when there's a sinus infection....i'm sorry!!!!!

i think the medicine will be fine during the 2ww. it shouldnt harm anything, but honestly im not sure about codeine.
although if you dont share a bloodline with the baby yet, then really i think it would be ok.
feel better...sinus infections suck!

Thanks! That is what I thought, but my doctor was hesitant to give it to me because it is a class C.

hmm..what about a different sinus medicine?? or regular robitussin w/o the codeine. it will help get all the crap out.
also, what may help is a sinus rinse?? ever do that? (also called a neti pot, there are different variations..)
its a saline solution you squirt up your nose until it comes out the other nostril..LOL keep blowing your nose intermittently..you may be grossed out by what comes out, but its a natural way to get all the crap out.

My husband uses nexium for his acid reflux.He loves it he tried all the other drugs with no help.   I hope you feel better!!
