BACK to the ER

UGH,

I feel like the last two weeks I cant catch a break. The throwing up seems to have stopped when I take the Zofran, but had a few here and there bouts..

But I was having for the last 3 days a LOT of cramping and pain in the right side again , and difficulty even walking ( I posted about how scared I was by this all) ...

Well after calling the Dr, and guess what...they sent me to the ER again ( which I hate) ....And 7 and 1/2 hours later, Im home and I have a Urinary Tract infection .....Which is causing the pain.

So I started an antibiotic and Im hoping it all goes away fast!

The baby is looking great though!!!

Cranberry juice!!! This baby better sleep though the night for you after all this pre-natal nonsense!! Glad you are both OK

Donna sorry about the trip to the ER and UTI, BUT I'm soooo glad to hear the baby is looking great

oh donna-i'm so sorry you were frightened again and had to go to the hospital. thank goodness the baby is ok and you were reassured. i hope the uti clears up fast.

i 2nd emilian- drink Cranberry juice!! it will help clear it up faster (it attacks the bacteria that's causing the UTI).
Glad that the baby is doing well.... feel better, mama!!!

I had a UTI and it is not fun at all i was throwing up and didn't feel right at all either and i had pain to. I know how u feel with that it is not fun.
Drink up on the fluids i was bad at that.

I am sooooooo glad you have a UTI. Really I am, at least now you have an answer.

But c'mon why couldnt your OB take urine????

And..... why didnt you call me missy!!!!!

I know UTI's are pain in the you know what, but I am glad that it is nothing that serious and your little one is ok

DDs stepmom has had a few UTI's already this pregnancy
she has had that pain and has to take antibiotics too....they told her its nothing to worry about

I'm glad the baby is doing good, but sorry about the UTI. They can be a real pain!

The Dr.s Office said I could come there, but they wouldnt get the results for 3-5 days with the holidays and so at the ER I would get the results ASAP. ....and they wanted a High tech sono to make sure it wasnt the cyst growing too big or a hernia from throwing up so much.

I am NOT going back to the ER though. UGH. They REALLY need to open Labor and delivery to all gestations. Most hospitals do....and Im less then happy Winthrop doesnt...but what can I do now right?

And yes, Im still with Dr. Hanauer and I must say Kerry the NP was AWESOME to me through all this. She kept calling me to check on me, even like every other hour. I Love her!

Also remember to eat yogourt so you dont end up with a yeast infection from the medicine.

Oh Donna, I'm so sorry to hear about all the problems you've been having ... I am glad they diagnosed you and hopefully you'll be on your way to feeling better soon

UTI's are sucky!!

I'm sorry!

But at least you have piece of mind knowing the baby is great and you have a name for the aches and pains now!!

Glad your feeling better and baby is ok. My dr. told me to NEVER go to the ER unless Im bleeding and he will meet me there, for all other issues contact him first no matter what. I go to winthrop too. He said there are too many nightmare stories about ER's and pg women. but thank god youre ok and baby too
