back from my 39 week appointment
so i am officially freaking out 
i have not dilated any more since friday. my doctor (the one that i normally see) agreed with the other doctor (that i saw on friday) that this baby might be too big to deliver vaginally. of course there is no guarantee, but they don't really want to see me go into labor and try to deliver what very well may be a 10 or 10.5 lb baby.
they left the decision up to me and DH, and we decided to go with a c-section.
and of course since they want to schedule c-sections well before the actual due date (too late!!) they put me on the schedule for thursday 
i have to go talk to my doctor again in the morning so nothing is set in stone yet but i do have the option of scheduling the c-section for monday - my actual due date. however my doctor did say that they wouldn't really want to do that because i could go into labor before then.
DH and i talked it over and right now we are leaning towards thursday.
i have to go for pre-surgical testing in the morning so i will keep you all updated!!
in case i do go into labor (yeah right ) my text buddy sunflowerjess and my friend katie111806 will keep you guys updated!!

Good Luck!
Since I had a scheduled c-section. We were deciding either Thursday or Friday because of DH being 2 weeks off. I ended up scheduling it on a Friday because I had to work with the hospital schedule too. That way DH was benefiting from the weekends and not use his vacations as much.
He took 2 weeks off.

I cant believe it is finally time. IM so happy for you. I have watched your posts from the beginning and it is so exciting. I cant wait to see pics. CONGRATS once again. 10lbs... damn what were you feeding that child. GOOD luck and i think you made and excellent decision.

awwww, 10 lb babys are BEAUTIFUL ;)
My DS was 10.1 22inches, and he looked perfectly round and adorable...
you made a good decision...i pushed for 4hours, and then had to have a VERY extensive surgery (beyond episiotomy) to repair...it was terrifying...its better to be prepared, and well planned...youre gonna do just fine :) Good luck!!
