baby sex anxiety

i feel like i can't wait any longer to know the sex of my baby!! i know there are plenty of parents-to-be who wait for the birth, but i feel like i am going bananas just waiting for the 20 week sono. am i the only one?!

we are set with names, i am so excited either way, but i can't wait to know if i can go nuts with pink, or start buying mets and michigan stuff...i am 3 weeks away from finding out, unless baby hides the goods. then i'll just lose my mind. LOL why is this all i can think about?!?!

this is a little strange for my first post on here since being preggo, but i'm going nuts and had to share.

I couldnt wait either. I was so happy we were able to find out a bit sooner than the usual. It will happen. Dont rush it. There are so many things you will experience with this. Enjoy every part (even the waiting)

I was exactly like you. I HAD to know asap!
at my 20 week sono, the baby had her legs closed.
same at my 26 week sono.
we finally found out at 30 weeks that it was a !

but according to most of my friends who have had babies, the boys show their goods & the girls are usually the ones who hide. in this case, that was correct!

first, CONGRATS!
second, you don't haaave to wait. I had a gender determination sono @ 16weeks, on my birthday. I needed to confirm my gut feeling was correct and it's really all i wanted for my bday!

We are the same way! I even started a countdown on my phone for days until our 20 week appt. If the baby isnt cooperating, Im going to go nuts!!!

Oh our appt. is Thursday so its soon, but it feels like it took FOREVER to get here!!!

With Both pregnancies I couldn't wait to know. I give team green girls credit becasue I just had to know.

I felt the same way.
I was so anxious to know the sex of the baby so I could start planning. So many Nov/Dec mommies already know and I have been patiently waiting.
We had our level 2 appt last Thu. Baby did not want to cooperate at all. So, we have to go back in 2 wks. But as anxious as I was before that appt, now I feel like, well I have waited this long, whats the problem with waiting until November. The anxiety lessens once you know the baby is healthy.

Yes, you can definitely pay for a sono to find this out. I found out at 12 weeks and that wasn't soon enough for DH!!!!

And you are NOT alone! I think there are tons of us planners out there that need to know NOW!!

I was the same way. I went to Babys First Appearance in Port Jefferson at 16 weeks and found out . Then at my Level 2 it was confirmed.

thanks for all the info, girls. i didn't realize you could pay to go outside of your obgyn for a sono...if we don't find out at our 20 week, i just might do that!!

we are less than 2 weeks away from (hopefully) finding out. trying to calm down, but at the same time i'm more anxious every day!

thats how my sister was... she had her dr guess at like every appointment lol... she was hi-risk so she had a lot of sonos

im only a little over 4 weeks and I am already so impatient!!! We keep calling it a "he" already but I would actually be thrilled with either! I just want to buy cute baby stuff already
