Baby on Zantac?
Anyone's baby on Zantac? I had called the on call ped last night because DD has had bad gas (so I think) and being on Allimentum and Mylicon does not seem to have made a difference. She had mentioned maybe putting her on Zantac but didn't want to do it yet. Wondering if this has helped your DC?

DS went on Zantac for reflux not gas issues.. but worked wonders.

DS was on Zantac for reflux too. He was also on Mylanta for gas...

hmm Mylanta? Maybe the doc thinks she might have silent reflux and thats why she mentioned zantac... I'm waiting for her call back but I think I'll mention Mylanta to her too.

It could be silent reflux. It can mimic gas sometime..

we had tried mylanta first and it didnt work for my DS..
he went on zantac for the reflux and at least worked for the screaming that took place after he threw up... so it worked for the pain and we decreased the amount little by little as he grew and took for cereal, veggies, and fruit,..

My daughter was on Zantac and Maalox for reflux. It worked wonders...she was a different baby after a few days!

B was on Prevacid for reflux. We recently had to put him back on it.

Dylan is on Zantac, he seems to be doing well with it. not as much spit up and less gassy

this is us too - we're on prevacid now and she's been doing great. and dd has a milk protein allergy as well so she's on alimentum for that.
